SILVER cmyk col 2018GNA WINNER Best Commercial Campsite clear background 004 Medium

Get back to the basics and back to nature - at one of our 19 bush campgrounds. Bring a tent or sleep under the stars. Not your style? Well, pull in and set up your camper trailer, caravan or motor home and enjoy the best of both worlds...

Camping is a great way to experience the great Aussie bush and also enjoy spectacular ocean views - or just listen to the ocean waves, while gazing at the stars and toasting marshmallows over a campfire. You might even spot some of our local wildlife, especially if you use it as a base camp for exploring our coastal walking trails.  Access is usually via a gravel road, accessible (with care) by conventional vehicles - and nearly all campgrounds are within walking distance of a sandy beach. A perfect way to escape the world for awhile.

A Bush Camping Permit gives you access to any of the 19 Bush Campgrounds, but does not reserve a particular site - which are only available on a 'first in basis'. We recommend looking at the locations listed on our Bush Camping Brochure, so  if your first choice is crowded, try a neighbouring site instead. There are always enough sites for permit holders, but regulars do have their favourites, and these often fill up first during peak times.
