What is self contained camping?  Put simply, it means leaving nothing behind, so you need the ability to take any waste with you, including general rubbish, toilet waste and any water used, for appropriate disposal elsewhere. The expectation is that caravans or motorhomes will have their own toilet and shower, and a tank to collect and confine waste water.

Bush Campgrounds are provided by Yorke Peninsula Council and require a Bush Camping Permit. The permit allows you to use the associated bin banks and toilets
