bush camping at Gleesons Landing

AN IMPORTANT UPDATE FROM YORKE PENINSULA COUNCIL

In response to the Prime Minister’s announcement on 24th March 2020, and the restrictions around non-essential domestic travel, Yorke Peninsula Council Bush Camping is now restricted.

As a result, all of our bush camps will restricted to;

  • A small minority that may be classed as ‘essential travel’. Vehicles must be self-contained with own toilet and shower facilities
  • Camper trailers, roof-top tents, tents and the like will not be permitted
  • All that have upcoming permits will be contacted to advise of the options going forward.

For those currently out there camping, you are encouraged to return to your homes. Council will be in contact to advise of options regarding your remaining days on your permit.
